Analysis of hidden content of “Interior cafe area" (short film) and their new approaches.

ABOUT STORY :

➯ The story is based on an old man who is the owner of a cafe.  One day the old man sees an old woman in his cafe who had left him in his youth and gone to another country because of some reasons and all the events that happened with him in his youth, he imagines all this in front of him.

THE ESSENCE IN THIS STORY:

➯ When that old man sees that old woman in his cafe after many years, he goes to sit in front of him and stares at the old woman.  He doesn't tell her who he is?  Because he expects to that old woman to recognize him as he recognized her as his young girlfriend who had left him for another country because of a problem.

But that old woman also recognizes him who he is?  At this point there is a strong connection between the two who meet after many years and both want to say a lot of things to each other but they are unable to understand where to start?

TRUE LOVE -

➯ Both still want each other very much, but that desire is still hidden somewhere.  When the old woman tells him that she will go to Nainital tomorrow and settle down there, then that old man seeks answers from his past which he is currently imagining.  He then attempts to stop the old woman and that old woman also agrees to him after a while.

                            If we think from the point of view of the audience, then a young generation might think that 'who has been married and has children and become grown old, how can that old man love him as much as he did in his youth?  

                             

But that old man and old woman do not think so.  His love is still as young as it was in his youth.  When that old woman agrees to stop then that old man has no place for happiness, he gets very excited.

PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECT -

➯ We often have some habits that we do unconsciously.  Mean, Things that happen on their own and some habits stay with us throughout life as it is with that old lady.  When the old man drops a packet of sugar on the table to see that his girlfriend is still the same as before?

Then he sees that the old woman starts cleaning the sugar powder from the table.  Which was his habit earlier too.

All this is connecting the audience in such a way that both of them are still the same as before.

CONTRADICTORY EVENTS :

➯ In this short film two such contradictory events are being shown in which the past has a connection with the present and both these things are going on simultaneously.

There is only one person in this film who is imagining this past and that is the ‘old man' and not that old woman.

When that old man sees that old woman in his cafe after many years, he starts to visualize the scene when the two were separated.  Also, that old man makes a connection to his past when he is in a dilemma as to how to stop that old woman?

                             All these things are "Attention Seekers" for the viewers which is connecting them to Film.

SINGLE FRAMING -

➯ The film depicts past and present situations in the same frame without editing in contradictory events.  This special character makes this short film different from other films, in which contradictory events are shown by editing (trim).

PEOPLE'S ATTRACTION TOWARDS THIS TYPE OF CONTENT :

➯ First of all, the approach working in such a film is-

“Catching eye of nude gist within time".

Meaning that the public is getting a new kind of content within a limited time which is completely different from other types of films.  Due to which it is attracting public attention.

If the audience wants to watch the film, then they have to waste their time sitting in front of the TV for two to three hours.  To understand and get the content that is being shown in the film.  But with the coming of the shot film, all these things have changed.

➯ Of all these big reasons one of the big reasons why people are attracted to it is-

“Catharsis" means People imagine that content by relating it to their own life.

There are many such incidents in the life of people that affect their emotions and when those things are shown through a shot film, then people like it very much.  As shown in the interior cafe area. When many such incidents have happened in people's life too. When they meet someone or some place after many years and feels happy to see it.
